Message From Minister of Works Malaysia

As we are aware, the entire nation is infused today with a single-minded determination to achieve the goals set by our Prime Minister in his Vision 2020. As our Prime Minister has pointed out on numerous occasions, Malaysia has the capability and the resources to attain the status of a fully industrialized nation. As the nation forges ahead in its drive for full industrialization, we are aware of the acute need for the necessary infrastructure to be developed to ensure that we are able to meet the challenges that lie ahead. The electricity sector represents a critical component of this infrastructural development need. In this regard, The Electrical and Electronics Association of Malaysia, TEEAM, has a role to play in supporting the healthy growth of the electricity industry.

I would like to congratulate TEEAM on the launching of this homepage. I am confident that this homepage will serve as a useful medium for reference.
