Special Features of Sandor Fire Resistance Door 

  • Tested and approved to MS 1073: PT1: 1998 (Equipment to BS 476 P78 1972) and complying to requirements for stability, integrity and insulation.
  • Constructed for superior quality woodbase materials.
  • Treated with fire retardant chemicals to produce finishes of exceptional quality and solid appearance with excellent fire protection and security features.
   Door Panel 
  • Superior quality solid core of chipboard manufactured to BS 5669 of Density

    • 730-750 KG/m3. 
  • Faced with a 4mm MR plywood Finish, 

    • complete with Kiln-Dried Hardwood 
    Edges.
  • Thickness is 44mm.

Sandor fire resistance windows, which come in either timber or steel frames, use a unique fire and impact resistant glass that has a fire resistance rating of one hour.

Windows Glass 

  • Undergone a series of fire resistance tests to ensure the provision of the widest range of specification options available in terms of overall glass size, appropriate glazing systems and potential final applications.
  • Only monolithic wired glass which meets both Part N and Part of the stringent UK Building Regulations is used.
  • Can be used in both single and multi-paned applications.
  • Offers distortion free vision and light transmission characteristics comparable with clear float glass.
  • Maintains an effective barrier to smoke, hot gases and flames even when fractured.
  • Does not shatter when sprayed with water under intense heat of a fire.
  • Can be glazed internally or externally without any need for further processing. In addition, it does not require protection from UV light.
  • Can be glazed in either steel or timber frames both single and multi-pane applications.
