RENOUNCEABLE RIGHTS ISSUE OF
241,894,985 NEW ORDINARY SHARES OF RM0.10 EACH IN ASIAEP (“RIGHTS
SHARES”) WITH 241,894,985 FREE DETACHABLE NEW WARRANTS (“WARRANTS”)
AND 241,894,985 BONUS SHARES (“BONUS SHARES”), ON THE BASIS OF 1
RIGHTS SHARE WITH 1 WARRANT AND 1 BONUS SHARE FOR EACH EXISTING
ORDINARY SHARE OF RM0.10 EACH IN ASIAEP HELD AT AN ISSUE PRICE OF
RM0.10 PER RIGHTS SHARE (“RIGHTS ISSUE”)
Please be advised of
the following:-
(i) ASIAEP's additional 241,894,985 Rights
Shares issued pursuant to the Rights Issue will be granted listing
and quotation with effect from 9.00 a.m., Monday, 14 September 2009;
(ii) ASIAEP's 241,894,985 Warrants issued pursuant to the
Rights Issue will be admitted to the Official List of Bursa
Securities and the listing and quotation of these Warrants on the
Ace Market under the "Loans" sector, will be granted with effect
from 9.00 a.m., Monday, 14 September 2009, on a "Ready" basis
pursuant to the Rules of the Securities Exchange; and
(iii) 46,883,154 Additional Warrants 2006/2011 issued
pursuant to the adjustments to the Warrants 2006/2011 will be
granted listing and quotation with effect from 9.00 a.m., Monday, 14
September 2009.
The Stock Short Name, ISIN Code and
Stock Number of the Warrants are "ASIAEP-WB", "MYQ0039WB091" and
"0039WB" respectively.
Kindly also be advised that the
Warrants of ASIAEP are prescribed securities. Dealings in the
Warrants of ASIAEP should be carried out in accordance with the
Securities Industry (Central Depositories) Act, 1991 and the Rules
of Bursa Malaysia Depository Sdn Bhd.
Kindly also be reminded
that only "free securities" can be utilised for settlement of trades
involving the aforesaid Warrants of
