The percentage of Madam Lee Suet Hong's interests in AsiaEP Berhad ("asiaEP") shares is computed based on the total number of asiaEP shares in issue excluding a total of 3,423,300 asiaEP shares bought-back by asiaEP and retained as treasury shares as at 31 July 2008.

We would like to rectify the announcement dated 31st July 2008. It should be read as sold instead of bought. This was due to mistake in trade confirmation presented to us by a remisier of a security firm.
