PTP Manufacturing Sdn Bhd was established in 1988 with factory situated at Pasir Gudang Industrial Estate, Johor, Malaysia. The plant is equipped with a slitter and three modern lines capable of providing top quality tubes and sectional hollows. In year 2000, PTP has installed one more high productivity Tube Mill capable of producing smaller tubes with OD of 9.5mm upwards.

The tube manufacturing process is ERW(Electric Resistance Welded) from Cold Rolled Steel, Hot Rolled Steel and coated steel of Aluminised or Galvanised by High Frequency Induction Welding System which results in stronger weld, excellent surface finish and precise dimensional accuracy.

Products Range

TUBES
Sizes range from ½" OD (13mm) to 2½" OD (63.5mm) in thicknesses from 1.0mm to 3.65mm

OPEN CHANNELS
Sizes vary between ¾" x ¾" (19mm X 19mm) to 100mm X 50mm C-channels.
Thicknesses between 1.6 mm and 2.6mm

HOLLOW SECTIONS
Sizes vary from ½" X ½" (13mm X 13mm) to 2" X 2" (50mm X 50mm) for square section.
Sizes vary from 9mm X 19mm to 75mm X25mm for rectangular section.
Thicknesses between 1.0 and 3.65 mm.

Tube Forming Tolerances and Standards

 We produce tubes conforming to the following standards:

JIS G 3444- Carbon steel tube for general structural purposes DIN equivalent DIN 17120-84, ASTM A500
JIS G 3445- Carbon steel tube for machine structural purposes Class 11, 12
JIS G 3466- Carbon steel square pipes for general structural purposes.
JIS G 3472- ERW carbon steel tube for automobile structural purposes.

The Company's products, are well known in Local and International Markets, comply with JIS, ASTM, BS Standards and are widely used in Furniture, Civil Structural, Machine Structural, Automobile, Bicycle, Scaffolding, Conveyor Systems and other applications.
