HICOM Diecastings utilises the most advanced technology in the region. Highly accurate emission spectrometry is used to analyze the composition of aluminium ingots to ensure they are in compliance with customer specifications.

The diecastings are equipped with CNC regulating and monitoring systems to ensure consistent quality in product, ease of operations and shorter changeover downtime. The machines are fully integrated with CNC programmable automatic spray devices, unloading units and dozing furnaces.
HICOM Diecastings' rigorous Quality Control System specifies precision testing for dimensional accuracy and hardness, utilising a range of high-technology inspection equipment including the 3-D coordinate measuring machine, hardness tester, surface roughness tester and profile projector. Fluoroscopic X-ray checks are conducted to inspect the diecast parts for flaws and porosity. Defects hidden to the human eye are thus detected by this non-destructive testing method.
